Our Story

Once Ontario was reopening after Covid, Emilie decided to try her hand at hosting a few events for vendors.  These were very successful and they brought in the Kinette Club of Sudbury to help them with their goals to share what they do for the community.  These events were very successful and added knowledge and experience for the team. They learned how to communicate with other vendors, what they want to see at venues and the importance of a positive attitude.

The next step for Emilie and Diane was to open their own store for the North and continue serving the many holistic metaphysical believers with much more than they could offer with a 6’ table. The diverse population in Sudbury makes it the perfect location to open a holistic health and wellness store.  Our positive Intention bottles have become very successful, popular and intrigue many shoppers.  Promoting a healthy life by using sound therapy, encouraging meditation and mindfulness, offering a space where they can speak freely about their beliefs without any judgement.

February of 2023 Diane found the perfect location to complete their goals and aspirations for a new and improved Valixya.  June 2023 the store front was opened and many of the vendors they had met at the events wanted to help them be successful by selling their items on consignment.  There are some who sell gemstone bracelets, relaxing bath salts and handmade soaps, others sell incense, essential oils, books and necklaces.  They had a perfect area at 1861 Lasalle to also introduce the community to a couple of Practitioners. 

Diana Gilbert is a Reiki master and experienced card reader and has joined the team.  She rents a small room in the top floor of the building which is a service that many or our clients are seeking.

Valixya was a vision seen in a dream and used for creativity and uniqueness.

The female figure represents the goddess; someone that helps you find peace, love and purpose. She represents the essence of a loving grandmother someone that could do no harm and brought a tremendous amount of joy to others.  She was a kind hearted soul that cared deeply for her family.  

The antlers represent the male; the balance, the teacher and the power. This is the essence of a father who teaches the essentials of life. Be constructive, knowledgeable and guides us to overcome obstacles.  

The tree roots run deep; it is what grounds families and helps them grow together. It signifies generations of talent taught from a grandmother and the family before her. Together we will continue this tradition and keep lost loved ones in our hearts.
