Allspice

Allspice is the dried unripe berry of Pimenta dioica, a midcanopy tree native to the Greater Antilles, southern Mexico, and Central America. It is called allspice because it tastes like a combination of cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Allspice contains eugenol which is thought to have some beneficial effects for pain and infection
